Last updated: 4 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Simplifidenet Limited ("Simplifidenet", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our websites or use our products, including SoccersAPI and ScoreCenter. We are committed to handling personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Irish law.
Who we are
Simplifidenet Limited is a company registered in Ireland (company no. 593197). For the purposes of data protection law, Simplifidenet is the data controller for personal data processed through our own websites and direct subscriptions. Where we operate a product on behalf of a customer, that customer may act as the controller and Simplifidenet as a processor.
Information we collect
- Contact & subscription data: the email address you provide when you subscribe to a newsletter or product update, and your subscription preferences.
- Account data: information you provide when you register for or use one of our products (for example, an API account).
- Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and interactions with our emails and services, used to keep our services secure and reliable.
How we use your information
- To deliver the newsletters, updates and services you have requested.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve our products.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
Legal basis for processing
We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you opt in to a newsletter), the performance of a contract (when you use our products), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing our services. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Email and unsubscribing
We only send emails to people who have asked to receive them. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can stop receiving messages at any time. We honour unsubscribe and suppression requests promptly.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate our services, such as email delivery and cloud infrastructure providers, and only to the extent necessary. These providers are bound by appropriate data-protection terms.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet our legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@simplifide.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
